In our frequent drives back and forth to Boston over a couple years, we managed to work in some excellent activities. We had always meant to visit the Yale Peabody Museum.

Saturday would have been Roger Corman’s 100th birthday and the Dryden Theatre showed a double feature of Deathrace 2000/Deathsport. Paul Bartel directed D2k, which makes it highly recommended. Deathsport was funny for different reasons.

In Las Juntas y Los Veranos. One of our favorite places which I happened to write about for that poetry duel with Mike Ennenbach. My poem, 26 Weeks, will be out in late May, though it was about raising mezcal yesterday. Suzanne took great pictures, especially when we needed a steady hand upstairs at the mezcaleria.
