Easter morning; Aaron generously says I look focused

Not a sign to be seen
But lovely holiday decorations
Inside and out
Walls thick and clean
For storing susurrations
On up to a shout
In a downpour
Our minds wet and slow
Stand in the rain or
Inside we should go

From my first ukulele Christmas. Suzanne captured this bizarrely interesting moment- probably just joking with Dave T., who was responsible for me playing with the group. I like to think we were considering ending the last song with an all-out Who freak-out. I’m out of commission this year, but hoping to return in January.

Much gratitude and love to see the dedication on the new album from Turkey Blaster Omega!

Suzanne Brendze would feel so honored, but even more she would be there tonight at the album release party Turkey Blaster Omega (Album Release Show) w/ Shambles & On the Cinder! Suzanne and I were there for the first TBO show at Temple (on a Tuesday, I believe) and her last show was at Record Archive this past July (such a great time!). I’ll be there tonight with family to see Aaron Brendze Brownlie and the rest of the band! Buy the album and stop by to say hello tonight!

Titled Practice on Sunday Afternoon; that is Cléoma Falcon on guitar, who wrote the lyrics to the song we now know as Jolie Blond and played guitar on its first recording in 1929 by the Breaux Brothers (she was the sister in the trio)
