Where better to begin a Japan photo dump than with Allen N Florence Agra’s picture of our arrival at Haneda Airport after 13+ hours in the air. Honestly, it’s been a while since I’ve seen such a smile on my face. Nearly 50 years of friendship will do that. The rest of the pics are from our outing to Hakone Jinja on the next day. Beautiful temple in a scenic area, though maybe don’t order the sulfur eggs unless you’re newly engaged. That would be Allen & Flo’s lovely dog, nearly as old as Allen and me.

Traveling in Japan with Aaron Brendze Brownlie for two weeks has been amazing; homeward bound today

Grateful to spend the day in the company of an old friend and raise a glass for Mother’s Day to grand mothers, mothers missed, and mothers experienced & freshly blessed. Near or distant, you’re in our thoughts and hearts. Then we went garden visiting, which seemed appropriate.

15 years ago today at the Bodhi tree. It was the one thing Aaron Brendze Brownlie said he wanted to see while we traveled around India.

Suzanne snapped it. I found it while saving/organizing the photos she took.

In our frequent drives back and forth to Boston over a couple years, we managed to work in some excellent activities. We had always meant to visit the Yale Peabody Museum.
