
Spring is arriving in the backyard



In our frequent drives back and forth to Boston over a couple years, we managed to work in some excellent activities. We had always meant to visit the Yale Peabody Museum.

It was below zero but Aaron and I trudged out to the George Eastman Museum to see the Dutch Connection and eat espresso chocolate chip cookies on Saturday.

“Let’s hike up to the missile installation,” said Matt Brownlie, which we did. Decommissioned anti-missile battery which protected LA during the Cold War. What a view. What a world.





Arriving home yesterday evening with the first snowfall of the season.
Our weird bench (where no one ought to sit) has apparently become an altar where the squirrels bring their offerings to Autumn.
